Q. How does the Filter work?


A. The filter allows you to select the type of websites BackLink Agent will find. So if you're looking for websites to add your landing page url to, select 'add url' as your filter. If you're looking for websites to upload a video, or submit your YouTube video url to, select 'submit video' as your filter.


If you found a new niche product and want to promote it, but don't know where to find an affiliate program that offers it - select 'affiliates' and get back a list of affiliate programs for your search.



Q. How do you build backlinks?


A. In order to build backlinks you need to find websites that are related to your website or product. Google pays close attention to the relevance of who you link to.


Backlinking is essential to build rapport with Google and ther search engines. Plus backlinking is a great way to get quality visitor traffic from other websites.



Q. Where does BackLink Agent get its backlinks from?


A. BackLink Agent queries Google to gather its lists of relative backlinks. BackLink Agent is also working on a separate query-engine for querying Yahoo and MSN.


These future enhancements will be available for free to all members when they are released.



Q. Can I submit my website to ALL the backlinks in your list?


A. The backlinks shown when you search are recommendations. We recommend these backlinks because Google finds them relevant to your search terms. Some websites shown may not be appropriate or entirely relevant for your website - so you'll need to use some common sense when selecting backlinks to request links with.


The purpose of backlinking is quality - I can't stress this enough. Having 10 quality backlinks is always better than 100 generic backlinks.



Q. How do I set up a BackLink?


A. Here's a step-by-step on how to set up a backlink:


  • 1. Use BackLink Agent to search for relevant backlink results

  • 2. Click on each result and determine if the backlink recommendation is highly relevant to your website.

  • 3. Depending on how you are searching for backlinks with BackLink Agent, you can either submit or add your url in a form on the backlink website (look for a link that says 'add url', 'submit url' etc. Or you can post a comment if the website is a blog or forum.

I also look at the Google Page Rank of the website I am wanting to backlink to. If they have a decent (higher than 6) Page Rank score, I will consider them for backlinking. I can deterine the Page rank by using the Google Toolbar add-on for my browser.



Q. Not all BackLink Agent backlinks are websites - some are YouTube videos and other media?


A. Yes, and this is good. For example, some YouTube videos get millions of hits, and by a targetted audience. So posting a comment about the video can help gain your backlink some exposure.


Be sure to read the Terms & Conditions or Forum Rules for each website prior to posting a backlink.



Q. Hey Bro! If I search my secret niche keywords, are you showing them on the left side?


A. Actually.... Yes. But if you're a lifetime membership owner - your searches will not be recorded. This is one drawback to using the free search tool.
